Mobile locksmith serving Mandarin
Locksmith in Mandarin, FL
Mandarin is a straight run down San Jose Blvd or I-295 from our shop, roughly 15 minutes door to door, and one of the neighborhoods we visit most. Between the older riverfront homes off Mandarin Rd, the subdivisions packed along Loretto Rd and Sunbeam Rd, and the newer construction around Bartram Park, there is a lot of hardware to keep working.

Locksmith notes for Mandarin
A lot of Mandarin housing dates from the 1970s through the 1990s, and it shows in the locks: original Kwikset and Schlage knobs and deadbolts that stick in the humidity or simply stop turning. We carry rekey pins and replacement cylinders for both, so a stuck front door on a Loretto ranch home is usually a same-visit fix.
Bartram Park and the newer sections south of I-295 are gated or coded in places. Give us the gate code or tell the guardhouse a locksmith is coming when you call, and if a keypad smart lock on new construction is what locked you out, mention the brand so we bring the right tools.
Car calls in Mandarin cluster around the shopping centers on San Jose Blvd, the grocery lots near Mandarin Landing, and the Baptist South parking garage. Fob programming is the most common automotive job here, especially for the minivans and family SUVs that fill these driveways.

Mandarin questions
How long does it take you to get to Mandarin?
Typically about 15 minutes. From our shop near I-95 and University Blvd we take either San Jose Blvd south or I-295 to the Old St. Augustine Rd exit, depending on where you are and what traffic on the Buckman approach looks like.
I just bought a house in Mandarin. Should I rekey or replace the locks?
If the existing deadbolts and knobs are in decent shape, rekeying is usually the sensible option and covers every door in one visit. When the hardware is original 1980s stock that is worn or mismatched, we will tell you honestly and quote a lock change instead.
Do you program key fobs in Mandarin or do I have to come to the shop?
We program most fobs and transponder keys from the van right in your driveway or the parking lot where you are stranded. For a few makes it is faster to cut the key at the shop, and we will tell you that up front.
