We Do Locksmith started in Tampa in 2016 and now runs shops in Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville. Every one of them has a real address you can drive to, a Google profile with hundreds or thousands of reviews, and technicians who show up in a marked vehicle with ID.

We built the company around one promise: the price you hear on the phone is the price you pay. No service-call fee bolted on afterward, no drilling a lock that can be picked, no unmarked van and no stranger at your door. Ten years and three cities later, that promise is why the reviews read the way they do, and why the shop nearest you will still answer at two in the morning.

What we believe a locksmith owes you

The locksmith trade has a trust problem, and it earned it. Call centers pose as local shops, teaser prices become hundreds of dollars on the driveway, and a standard lockout somehow requires drilling. We built We Do Locksmith to be the opposite of that on every call.

A flat price for the whole job, quoted before anyone drives. If the job changes, you hear about it before any work starts.
Technicians who are employees, background-checked, insured and bonded, in a wrapped We Do Locksmith vehicle, with ID.
Picking first, drilling last. Standard residential and automotive locks are opened without damage.
Proof of ownership checked every time. We open doors and make keys for owners and authorized drivers only.
Honesty about limits. A few car makes lock key data to the manufacturer; we say so instead of taking the job and failing.

Licensing in Florida, plainly

Florida does not issue a statewide locksmith license, Duval County never required one, and the few county programs that existed elsewhere were phased out by state preemption in 2025. That means the checks that matter are the ones you can verify: liability insurance, a surety bond, a physical shop, and a public review history. We Do Locksmith carries the insurance and the bond, and our three shops have 5,089 Google reviews between them.

Tampa was first, in 2016. Orlando and Jacksonville followed as the same model: a shop with a counter, a fleet of mobile technicians, and local dispatch. Each shop has its own phone number and its own reviews, because the people answering and arriving are local to that city.
